Muhannad Ibrahim, pulls gun on police & shoots himself in the chin

A man pulled a gun and shot himself in the chin during a traffic stop in Boynton Beach.

The incident happened just after midnight on Feb. 27, in the eastbound lanes of W. Woolbright Road.

Muhannad Ibrahim, 33, was pulled over by officers after they were informed that Ibrahim had an active warrant for felony domestic battery by strangulation.

Officers attempted to take Ibrahim into custody, but he immediately began to resist the officers’ commands. Officers removed Ibrahim from the vehicle, but not before he pulled a gun from his waistband.

The interaction is all captured on body camera video.

Ibrahim raised the gun to his chin and fired one round, police said. He sustained injuries from the self-inflicted gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital, where he is in critical condition.

Officers were not injured during this incident.

Ibrahim is being charged with carrying a concealed firearm, resisting arrest without violence and improper exhibition of a firearm.

    the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
