A passenger, who was also on the motorcycle, was injured. The accident happened this Thursday (22) in Paulista, in Greater Recife.
A motorcyclist died and the passenger was injured after the motorcycle collided with a car that was parked during the descent of a slope in Paulista , in Greater Recife , on the morning of this Thursday (22). In the accident, his helmet flew off and his head went through the car’s trunk glass. The accident was filmed by a security camera (see video above) .
Images sent to WhatsApp by TV Globo show the moment of the accident, which happened on Rua do PrΓncipe, in the neighborhood of Vila Torres GalvΓ£o, around 8:40 am. The slope is known as Alto do Bigode.
In the video, you can see the moment when the motorcycle, with two men, quickly approaches the car, which was stopped, and hits the rear of the vehicle.
According to the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu), the motorcycle rider was 39 years old. Witnesses said he was transporting passengers via app. The other man is 22 years old, and would have hired the service

The 39-year-old motorcyclist’s helmet flew over the car and his head got stuck in the rear window of the vehicle. The 20-year-old passenger kept his helmet on, but was thrown over the top of the car and landed on the ground.
The motorcyclist died instantly. The passenger was taken by Samu from Paulista to Hospital da RestauraΓ§Γ£o (HR), in Derby, central Recife.
HR reported that the patient was admitted with polytrauma, underwent tests and is hospitalized with stable health.
