CCTV: Horrible Attack on An 8-Year-Old By 3 Vicious Stray Dogs in New Delhi

In a distressing incident in Kerala, an 8-year-old girl was hospitalized after being viciously attacked by three stray dogs at her home. The incident occurred in the town of Muzhappilangad in Kannur district, which tragically had already witnessed the fatal mauling of an 11-year-old autistic boy by a pack of stray dogs on June 11.

The young girl, named Jhanvi, was in the yard of her house when the three dogs pounced on her yesterday. Her cries for help attracted the attention of nearby residents, causing the dogs to flee. However, she sustained injuries to her hands and legs and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment.

In another incident reported by news agency PTI, a stray dog attacked children outside a school in Kollam district. Footage of the incident depicted the dog charging at a group of students and biting one of them, who fell to the ground and attempted to fend off the canine by kicking. Eventually, the dog retreated when other students threw stones and their bags at it.

Tragically, on June 11, an 11-year-old autistic boy named Nihal was attacked by a pack of stray dogs in the same town of Muzhappilangad. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

MB Rajesh, the Minister for Local Self-Governments in Kerala, expressed the need to review certain provisions of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, calling for relaxed measures. The minister also stated that the state would approach the Supreme Court once again, seeking permission to euthanize stray dogs that pose a threat to human life.
